Vine makes a home in us, we
bear the fruit of Love.
People: We produce the fruit of Love, the life-giving
Vine.
Leader: Easter people, how shall we bear the fruit
of Love, the life-giving Vine?
All: We will love and learn to love as we

**HYMN #2220 (TFWS).................................................................................. “WE
ARE GOD’S PEOPLE”
If anyone sins, we have someone who pleads
with the Father on our behalf—Jesus
Christ, the righteous one. And Christ himself is the means by which our sins are
forgiven, and not our sins only, but also the sins of the whole world. (I John 2:1-2)
Let us confess our sins before God and one another…
SILENT PRAYERS OF CONFESSION
Leader: Christ is the vine. We are his branches. If we abide in Christ, Christ’s
words will abide in us. Ask for whatever you wish in Christ’s name and
it
will be granted. In the name of Christ, you who seek
forgiveness are
forgiven!
People: In the name of Christ, you who seek forgiveness are forgiven! AMEN.

PRAYER CONCERNS/PASTORAL PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our
trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
AMEN.
I cast all my cares upon you, I lay all of my burdens down at your feet, and anytime that
I don't know what to do, I will cast all my cares upon you.
**HYMN #664 (UMH)................................................................ “SENT FORTH BY GOD’S BLESSING”
Branches of the Vine, go from this place blessed by God’s love to work in love with your family,
your friends, your neighbors, and strangers who will become friends, bearing the fruit of the life-
giving Vine, Jesus Christ, as you cultivate an abundant life in him wherever you go. AMEN!
Bind us together, Lord, bind us together with cords
that cannot be broken.
Bind us together, Lord, bind us together, bind us
together in love.
