**HYMN #327 (UMH)............................................................... “CROWN
HIM WITH MANY CROWNS”
We, who so often take your wonders for granted, welcome the opportunity to make a
joyful noise before you, O God. We come here this morning to worship and to praise
you, glad that we live in this country filled with such diversity and beauty and blessings.
Yet, joyful noises are not easy for everyone to make, as we come from differing situations
and lifestyles. Some are burdened with the stresses of daily living and all that involves;
some are wearied from tasks of serving others; some are worried over the state of the
world and where that is all leading us. Speak to us all, O God, in the stillness of this
time and remind us of Jesus’s willingness to take our burdens upon himself and to
learn from him - to experience his gentleness and steadfast love for all. Confident in
Christ, we offer this time of worship to you, praying that it may reflect our praise and
thanksgiving for all that Jesus has done for us. This we pray in his name. AMEN.

Up from the grave he
arose, with a mighty triumph o’er his foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain, and he lives forever, with his saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

I cast all my cares upon you, I lay all of my burdens down at your feet, and anytime that
I don't
know what to do, I will cast all my cares upon you.
APOSTLES’
CREED AND INVITATION TO HOLY COMMUNION (UMH PAGE 7-8)
GREAT
THANKSGIVING (UMH PAGE 15)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our
trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
AMEN.
Holy Communion will be served at the chancel rail this morning. At the direction of the
ushers, you will be invited forward. You may kneel or stand at the kneelers. You will then
receive a piece of bread from a communion server. After eating the bread, you will receive
the juice and after drinking the juice, you will be dismissed by the pastor to return to your seat.
If you are unable to come forward for Holy
Communion servers will serve you in your seat.
**HYMN #526 (UMH).............................................................. “WHAT
